Meaning: moon, month, flesh (meat)
Readings: つき、ゲツ、ガツ
My hack: I learned this one as a stylized version of a crescent moon. Just make the top of the kanji pointy, and have the 2 legs at the bottom meet, and you kind of get the idea.
Following through from the hack for day as a window “glowing” with sunlight, you can think of this one as a window glowing with moonlight, with the two “additional lines” (compared to the kanji for “day”) beams of moonlight lying romantically on the floor.
